Today, in the February issue of B-METRO magazine, an article came out featuring LOBOTOMIX founder RASHID QANDIL, aka djRASHIDO, and his creation of the LOBOTOMIX collective. Written by Birmingham native, music enthusiast, dj, editorialist and gallery director, Brett Levine, the article gives a brief history of the beginnings of LOBOTOMIX, a glimpse into the world of it’s founder and a sense of his vision for the resurgence of hip hop in The Magic City.
