DOC AHK
Doc Ahk of The 1987 Supply Co. began rhyming out loud by a water fountain at his high school and has since evolved to comparisons to Charles Hamilton, Kid Cudi and Asher Roth. Undagroundz Magazine rated his first online single, “Super Saiyan Vick” #1 in their Top 10 Songs You Must Hear section (over Busta Rhymes, Ya Boy and Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, and Doc’s all-time favorite MC, Jadakiss). Doc Ahk, who approaches his art by responding to emotions evoked by beats, came to Birmingham by way of Okinawa, Japan, Oceanside, CA, and Goldsboro, NC [“The Drop” recently received radio play in Japan, with the help of Planet Oki]. Currently inspired by Danny Brown and having read a lot of Langston Hughes, Doc Ahk weaves his worldly insights into poignant, thought-provoking rhymes delivered with reckless yet graceful energy. Doc Ahk is a genuine person who happens to be a dope emcee – an artist who likes to have crazy fun and go nuts [and not just with metaphors and similes].

CHRIS FOGG
Chris Fogg, also of The 1987 Supply Co., is a recording artist, producer, songwriter, and visual artist from Birmingham, AL. Familiar with six instruments by the age of 14, Fogg began rapping in the 7th grade over cassette tapes with his boom box. His musical influences range from Mos Def, Lupe Fiasco, and MF Doom to Marvin Gaye, The Gorillaz, and Chuck Berry. Fogg couples everyday humor and social commentary with an insightful perspective. His target audiences are urban and suburban teenagers, young adults, and true hip hop fans. Fogg hopes to use his music to travel, challenge common ideas, and make a sufficient living. Notably, Fogg is also a part-time astronaut and avid knitter.

MIC MILITIA
At a very young age Mic Militia (Michael Allen) knew he possessed something special, something that would one day make him a powerful voice in the Hip Hop community. He became a pioneer of Birmingham’s underground music scene when he entered his first talent show at the Carver Theater and won first place. His winning song, titled “Down South,” grabbed the attention of Hip Hop lovers who were caught by surprise by Mic’s cool, witty, laid-back, but in-your-face style. With this song, Mic Militia inspired a sense of pride among Birmingham listeners during an era in which East and West ruled the airwaves. He has paid his dues locally and is ready for take-off! With 15 years under his belt, capturing the hearts of old schoolers and gaining the respect from this new generation of artists, he is bridging the gap that separates the two. Mic Militia is positively the future of southern Hip-Hop.

DJ TANNER
dj TANNER has been a dj since 2001, but his passion for music started as a child. He grew up in New Orleans and was raised by his father’s record collection. These two influences gave him a passion for all genres of music and the overwhelming desire to share this music with anyone willing to listen. He strongly believes that you have to know where music came from in order to know where it should go. dj Tanner uses hip hop as a platform to mix old school, funk, reggae, soul, rock, and dance music. His extensive record collection can get any head to bob and any dance floor hype.
