THE BIRMINGHAM WEEKLY gave LOBOTOMIX the cover article this week. The story, “Reversing the Lobotomy: On the Frontlines of the Battle to Reclaim the History of Hip Hop” was based on a recent interview with LOBOTOMIX’s founding father, Rashid Qandil [aka djRASHIDO] and talks about the history of LOBOTOMIX, his love of hip hop, and the perceptions and misconceptions that govern the politics of hip hop. Managing Editor Sam George wrote the article, and he did a great job of describing the character of the movement and the people behind it.
