POSTED ON Aug 13, 2011

The Green Seed will be performing at the Opening Night After Party at the B&A Warehouse.

Birmingham is gearing up for the 13TH Annual Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival, a celebration of new independent film, which will run Friday through Sunday, AUG 26-28, 2011 in the theater district of downtown Birmingham. LOBOTOMIX’s own, The Green Seed, will be spread throughout the festival and we encourage you to go seek them out.

First, on Friday, August 26th, The Green Seed will be performing at the Opening Night After Party at the B&A Warehouse. To attend the party, you have to attend the film festival and have a either a VIP, Filmmaker, Film+Party and Weekend Pass or Opening Night Film Armband.

The next day, on Saturday, August 27th, Sugartooth‘s music video for The Green Seed’s single Crack Kills will be screening at the Carver Theater (1631 Fourth Avenue North) at 5:15pm as part of the Local Shorts 1 – Alabama Filmmakers block.

Although these are several highlights from the documentary films at the festival that we wanted to point out, there are hundreds of great films to see this weekend, so be sure to go through the Sidewalk site and check out the diverse array of movies that are available and get out there and enjoy great film – independent film doesn’t make it to this town that often, so this is a great opportunity to fill that void.
