LOBOTOMIX is officially turning 2 on October 29th, and in our usual fashion, we are going to celebrate by throwing a HUGE, FREE party for our friends and fans, with the whole crew getting in on the action.

Come out and throw down with us – there will be great music, as always, the b-boys will be representing on the dance floor, and there will be giveaways, competitions, and prizes.

We will be featuring our deejays pretty heavy in this one, so be ready for djTANNER, djHERON, djRASHIDO, and the 2010 Needle2TheRecord djChampion djJEFF C to bring it hard, rock the crowd and bring the breaks for the b-boys.

We will also be featuring djJEFF C who will perform a showcase of his battle routines and turntablist skills.

And Shaheed & Supreme will be out to throw out some live hip hop at you – and you know it is the realness.

Plus The Kids In The Cypher b-boy crew will be there rocking the dancefloor like they always do. Going hard and defying gravity and the limits of human anatomy.

We will also be hosting a community cypher featuring local emcees – this will not be a battle, but an opportunity to get a freestyle session going with all of the emcees in the house, so if you can spit off the dome, come get down with us and show us what you’ve got – several of our friends will be getting this going, so come jump in.

Since it will be Halloween weekend, we will have to have a little fun with it – there will be a Hip Hop Costume Contest! Come dressed as your favorite Hip Hop icon / Rapper / Producer and we will have a contest for the best costume! Bring a picture of your inspiration so we can check it out! The winner will get a free pair of tickets to the November 4th show at Bottletree featuring G-Side, Kristmas, and LOBOTOMIX’s power duo Shaheed & Supreme who will be opening up the show along with our good friends and local heroes The Green Seed who feature the two best dj’s in birmingnham – yeah you know it, djFX and LOBOTOMIX’s djJEFF C.

So, come out and throw down with us and get a taste of Birmingham’s independent hip hop scene.
