LOBOTOMIX’s djJEFF C will be heading back to Atlanta and showcasing at this year’s NEEDLE TO THE RECORD DJ COMPETITION at Atlanta’s A3C HIP HOP FESTIVAL. JEFF will be returning proudly to represent at the competition he dominated last year, where he took first place after an intense final-round battle against his good friend and crew mate, djCONCEPT. Needle To The Record DJ Competition (N2TR) celebrates the prolific history of turntablism by taking us to its roots: head-to-head competition. This event features talented DJs, exposing audiences to the cutting edge of DJ artistry. There is something to learn and observe for seasoned hip-hop enthusiasts, new hip-hop heads and cultural admirers alike.

This year’s competing DJs are DJ Aquaria [Allyantz DJs, Georgia], DJ Slice [Cr8Kickers, Delaware], DJ Charlie Kroy [New York], DJ Cysko Rokwel [Crunk Bros, Colorado], The Don Santos [Table Vision, Maine], DJ King James [Cr8Kickers Crew, Georgia], DJ Gravel [Florida], and DJ Logic [Georgia] and will be judged by a panel of Special Guest DJ Judges including DJ Jaycee [Ludacris, The Aphilliates], DJ AppleJac [Sounds of Mecca Entertainment], and the inventor of scratching, the legendary Grand Wizzard Theodore [Fantastic Five].

Aside from the intense competition and JEFF C’s showcase, there will be showcases by our good friend DJ SHIFTEE [2009 DMC World Champion, New York] and Grand Wizzard Theodore [Fantastic Five, New York] himself – taking it back to where it all began.
