We are proud to announce that dj HERON is now an official member of the LOBOTOMIX crew.

Dj Heron, a strong and present force in our Hip Hop community, has worked with our crew members in many different capacities over the years as a producer, dj, and as the originator of one of Birmingham’s earliest local hip hop crews – Precise Elements. Before i ever got to officially meet Heron, i recognised him and his place in the community. As LOBOTOMIX was formed and grew, his name was always in the air as if he had just left the room. Before i really even realised it, i knew that he was one of us, and so it was a quick and easy transition from stranger to friend to “unofficial crew mate” that seemed to take place effortlessly over the course of about a year. Heron has been a part of who we are and what we do for a while now, and it has come about so smoothly that he has really been a member of LOBOTOMIX for a while, but without ever having gotten an official welcome.

With the crew’s second anniversary fast approaching, I am making sure that this is fixed. I am proud to welcome Heron officially into the crew, and i think i speak for the whole when i say that we see him as our brother.
