FRI JUNE 17th is the season’s kick-off of ART ON THE ROCKS at the Birmingham Museum of Art.

6:30PM – 8PM // HIP HOP SHOWCASE BY LOBOTOMIX CREW

Featuring the best in local hip hop, LOBOTOMIX crew will kick off the evening’s musical entertainment with a display of Turntablism and DJ stylings by DJ Jeff C and DJ Heron as they juggle breakbeats, scratch and finesse the turntables. Local B-boy crew KIDSINTHECYPHER will physically interpret this musical matrix through their energetic, gravity-defying dance-form. Rounding out the performance, local MC and hip hop legend Shaheed will rock the mic with a live set, supported by his producer Supreme on the beats and DJ Heron on the cuts. Be sure to see this display of local hip hop in action.
